- Delete colours that only appear in photos or ads on the site. Keep the ones used in the interface.
- Check the fonts against the client's licence. A web font on their site isn't always licensed for print.
- Replace any low-resolution logo with the original vector file.
- Name each colour by role, such as Primary, Accent or Text, not just by hex value.
- Ask the client to confirm the kit before you use it in a single design.
