- Select the object you want to see.
- Press the period key on the numpad (View Selected). The view zooms and centres on it.
- Press Home to frame everything in the scene instead.
No numpad? Use View, then Frame Selected from the viewport menu.
Lost in the viewport? Frame the selection
Press numpad period in Blender to zoom straight to whatever you have selected.
